A new section and more revisions ...
Yes, that is the game! Little by little new pages are added to your work, and new revisions polish it. As I continue to read and write, a more complete version of Chapter 3 takes form. I sent a new version, but was not happy with it. How much more work it needed!!!
So, I am back at the revision stage. The good thing is that no more readings are needed, or at least not much more. Now I need to concentrate on making my work readable, so that others can understand what I want to say, so that my writing makes sense – not only for me but for the reader. It is like shuffling things around, trying to find the best way to say things, to present other people’s ideas, to summarize in a coherent way, to find the right words, and to create new ways, that is new understandings. And besides all that, translating your thoughts from Spanish!
It takes time, but it is “worth while”!
